In stronger alloys, Hot Forming may be preferred. This allows stronger material to form easier and can increase the accuracy of the form. Many different types of fixtures can be used by our customers to check machined parts for inspection or align parts for machining. Precision Cutter & Tool can machine complex parts of strong material as well as design and build special machines for a variety of uses. Form dies are used to create standard bends or built to stretch material over a shape. A blank die produces a flat part by cutting the desired shape in one cycle. The blank can then be formed in another die. Normally used for large parts or a variety of other reasons. Progressive Tooling can be used in combination with a coil feeder for continuous part production, and can combine punching, coining, forming and in die processes all in one tool.
